  5. Lou live is always the way to travel. Quine is delightful on lead guitar, the band is tight and the song selection is excellent. Sweet Jane and Some Kind of Love/ Sister Ray and Heroin are stand outs in a near perfect album/5(55).

Live In Italy is an album by Lou Reed recorded live over two nights in September (on the 7th in Verona and on the 10th, at the ruins of Circus Maximus, in Rome) using the Rolling Stones Mobile Unit. It was issued on vinyl only in Germany, UK and Japan. At the time, Reed and his band were on a world tour to promote the album Legendary Hearts.

Best track for long time Velvet's fans - the Some Kinda Love/Sister Ray workout - which showcases Quine at his best on a well known Velvet's original - for these classics Lou Reed does seem more engaged than with some of the newer stuff he showcases. There are excellent versions of White Light/White Heat and Waiting for the Man here too/5(37).
